River Hills’ transparency policy, in plain English
- Your project gets its own dedicated accounting/bank account. Project funds are kept separate rather than pooled with other customers’ money.
- You can see the financial records. Clients receive copies of bank statements, lien releases, line-item estimates, and other documents relating to their home.
- No co-mingling of funds. Customer funds aren’t mixed with funds from other projects.
- No kickbacks. River Hills does not accept kickbacks from vendors or subcontractors.
- Pricing is intended to be clear before construction. River Hills provides a preliminary estimate covering labor, materials, site work and selected features, then revising the budget as the plans and specifications are finalized.
- Digital access to the project. The project-management system is provided to give homeowners progress updates, photos, schedule information and communication with the building team.
- Documentation is retained digitally. River Hills files relating to the home are maintained on a secure server and provided to clients upon request.
- Transparency continues after construction. Homeowner walkthroughs—at completion, around 45 days, and around 11 months—along with a comprehensive in-house warranty program.
The big idea: River Hills isn’t just promising to tell you what things cost; We’re saying the homeowner can verify where the money went by having access to the project’s financial documentation.
